Five-member girl band EXID sparked the biggest audience sing-along during Saturday’s Dream Concert.

EXID was one of 23 bands performing at Sangam World Cup Stadium in Mapo-gu, western Seoul, including idol bands SHINee, EXO, 4Minute and INFINITE. But EXID got the most reaction from the 45,000-strong crowd with popular hits “Up & Down” and “Ah Yeah.”

A media report quoted one man in the audience as saying the sing-along was the loudest and most overwhelming when EXID performed the songs. Audience members were like “soldiers in a crazed military camp visited by an idol girl band” and, swinging their neon-light sticks, sang “their hearts out like they were in a huge karaoke room,” he said.

EXID, who debuted in 2012 with their digital single album “Holla,” took No. 1 spot with “Ah Yeah” in online music charts and on TV music shows in April and May.
