Gangnam is gearing up to host a festival showcasing diverse K-culture attractions, set to run from Thursday to Monday.
The 2023 Gangnam Festival will provide various events, including a fashion show, K-pop performances, and an array of food trucks stationed in the Gangnam area in southern Seoul.
The opening ceremony will take place at COEX in Gangnam District. The musical performance will unfold under the theme "Paint the Future," narrating a girl's journey, from future Gangnam, as she rediscovers a lost dream through time travel.
K-Tigers, a musical artist team known for their enthralling fusion of taekwondo and music, which has gained significant popularity recently, will take part in the opening ceremony.

On Friday, the fashion festival is slated to take place at the Starfield Library in COEX. The event will feature shows directed by Korean designers and a show by a prominent designer Tran Hung of Vietnam.
The finale of the festival, the K-pop concert, is scheduled for Sunday at Yeongdong Street, near Hotel Riviera and Cheongdam Station on Seoul Metro Line 7. Seven groups, including aespa, NCT Dream and Stacy, are set to provide spectacular performances to the audience during the concert.
The seats for the K-pop concert are already fully booked. Nevertheless, additional seating along the street may be available, according to the Gangnam District Office.
The festival will also host a range of additional events, such as a marathon and a food festival.
