Chief justices from countries in the Asia-Pacific region will gather in Seoul to attend the biggest conference of its kind June 12-19.
The 14th Conference of Chief Justices of Asia and the Pacific will take place at the Grand Hyatt Seoul and the Supreme Court of Korea with the participation of chief justices from 32 countries in the Asia-Pacific region as well as delegates from the United States, Australia and the Law Association for Asia and the Pacific.
The biennial event aims to provide an opportunity for chief justices to discuss and address urgent juridical issues in the Asia-Pacific region under the theme of “The Present and the Future of the Judiciary in the 21st Century.”
“The event will serve as a forum to promote the sharing of comprehensive discussions on diverse issues and topics of interest among the member countries,” the organizer said.
