British Ambassador to Korea Colin Crooks lays a wreath at the Gloucester Hill Battle Monument, also known in the Korean language as the Monument for British Army's Seolmari Battle, in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, April 25, on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the Battle of the Imjin River during the 1950-53 Korean War. Ambassadors from Belgium and Ireland and delegates from Gloucester, the hometown of the Gloucestershire Regiment and C Troop, 170th Mortar Battery Royal Artillery of the British Army, also paid tribute at the memorial.
