The French-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) will hold its28th annual gala at the Grand Hyatt Seoul, Dec. 9.
With the theme "From Chamonix to PyeongChang, the Legend of Winter Sports," this year's event will be held in cooperation with the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics' Organizing Committee, putting the spotlight on the upcoming worldwide sports competition, which will take place next year in Korea.
Held every year since 1989, the FKCCI gala attracts more than 800 guests from the French-Korean business community for a night celebrating French culture and French-Korean friendship.
French singer Alma, who represented France at the 2017 Eurovision contest, will give her first musical performance in Korea. Korean Designer Heill Yang will present a fashion collection inspired by French fashion and Korean art and poetry.
A lucky draw will offer a round trip to Paris for two people with Air France, with a three-day stay at Terminal Neige Montenvers.
The FKCCI, set up in 1986, has more than 350 member companies, including most French companies in Korea and Korean companies that have business relationships with France.
The chamber aims to promote bilateral exchanges, investment and trade relations between France and Korea.
