It will hold a ceremony to mark the opening of the Northeast History Academy for Foreigners at the grand auditorium of the foundation in Seoul, today.
The academy is designed to provide expats with opportunities to learn about the history and culture of Korea. "Through the class, they will be able to deepen their understanding of the history and culture of various nations in Northeast Asia, as well as Korea," said a foundation official.
The foundation began holding classes for foreigners over two semesters last year. Some 50 students are scheduled to take part in the upcoming third academy session from 16 countries, including China, Mongolia, Japan, Russia, Taiwan, Azerbaijan, India, Germany, the United States and Spain.
