International K-pop sensation BTS has become the first act from South Korea to spend a year on the Billboard 200, setting a record in a career already full of many.
전 세계적으로 K팝 돌풍을 일으키고 있는 그룹 방탄소년단이 '빌보드 200' 차트에서 1년을 유지한 최초의 K팝 그룹이 되며 또 하나의 기록을 추가했다.
The group's "Love Yourself: Answer" reentered Billboard's main albums chart at No. 165 on Monday.
방탄소년단의 'Love Yourself: Answer'앨범은 지난 월요일 빌보드 메인 앨범 차트인 '빌보드 200'에 165위로 재진입했다.
According to Billboard, the album has now spent 52, non-consecutive weeks on the chart, making it the first K-pop album to be on the Billboard 200 for a full year.
빌보드에 따르면, 이 앨범은 52주간(누적) 빌보드 200 차트에 이름을 올린 최초의 K팝 앨범이다.
Citing Nielsen Music, Billboard said the album has also sold 1.1 million total equivalent album units, making it eligible for platinum certification.
미국 음반 판매량 조사회사 닐슨에 따르면 이 앨범은 이번 주까지 미국에서 110만 장이 판매되며 플래티넘(100만 장 이상)에 등극했다.
BTS has another album on the Billboard 200 this week. Its latest EP, "Map of the Soul: Persona," is at No. 149 for its 25th non-consecutive week on the chart. (Yonhap)
