Song Ji-ah, a cast member of Netflix's Korean reality show, "Single's Inferno," has admitted to the ongoing rumors that she wore counterfeited luxury brand goods in her YouTube videos and on the show.
넷플릭스 한국 리얼리티 프로그램 ‘솔로지옥' 출연자인 송지아가 그녀의 유튜브 영상과 이 프로그램에서 짝퉁 명품을 착용했다는 진행중인 루머를 인정했다.
The social media star, who rose to global fame after starring in the dating show, released a statement through her Instagram account, Monday, apologizing to the public.
‘솔로지옥' 출연으로 글로벌 명성을 어은 이 소셜미디어 스타는 월요일 자신의 인스타그램을 통해 사과문을 게재하며 대중에게 사과했다.
"I apologize to everyone who has been disappointed and hurt by my actions. … There has been a controversy over clothes that I wore on social media and ‘Single's Inferno.' And it is true that some of the items were knockoffs," Song wrote.
송지아는 "저로 인해 실망과 상처를 받으신 모든 분들에게 진심으로 사과드린다. … SNS 및 ‘솔로지옥'에서 입었던 일부 옷에 대한 논란이 있다. 지적해주신 가품 논란은 일부 사실이다"라고 적었다.
"I am sorry that my behavior damaged designers' creative work and infringed on copyright."
"제 행동이 디자이너분들의 창작과 저작권을 침해해 정말 죄송하다."
She added that as a person who "dreams of launching her own brand" in the future, she intends to take this issue seriously and deeply reflect on herself.
송지아는 미래에 "브랜드 론칭에 대한 꿈을 가지고 있는" 사람으로서 이번 논란에 대해 심각하게 인지하고 스스로에 대해 깊이 반성하겠다고 덧붙였다.
"I have deleted all the videos that contain fake luxury goods. I also want to extend my apology to all the brands that were affected by my actions."
"가품이 노출된 컨텐츠는 모두 삭제했다. 저로 인해 피해를 본 브랜드에게도 사과하겠다."
The issue surfaced online, Sunday, when an online user posted a video on YouTube claiming that Song has been wearing counterfeit goods of high-end brands like Chanel, Dior and Versace.
이번 논란은 일요일 한 온라인 유저가 유튜브에 송지아가 샤넬, 디올, 베르사체와 같은 명품의 짝퉁을 입어왔다고 주장하는 비디오를 유튜브에 올리며 표면화되었다.
