A driver was fined for harassing another driver with continued "revenge" honking.
The driver, surnamed Lee, 64, was accused of sounding the horn for 35 seconds when a car ahead didn't make way for him to turn right in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, July 3.
Seoul Northern District Court fined Lee 300,000 won for violating the Road Traffic Law. The law punishes drivers who distract or threaten other drivers with repeated or continued honking with up to a year in prison or a fine of up to 5 million won ($4,500).
"His act was dangerous and could lead to an accident," Judge Jang Soo-young said.
