South Korean archers won two golds and two silvers in the compound category, Saturday, proving again their dominance in the sport.
The achievement also helped the host country secure second-place standing in terms of medals, as South Korea and Japan are engaged in a tight battle for the spot.
South Korean female archer Choi Bo-min won the compound women's individual final match at the Gyeyang Asiad Archery Field in Incheon by defeating her younger teammate Seok Ji-hyun in the all-Korean finals. Seok took the silver after losing to Choi by only one point.
Earlier the same day, Choi grabbed another gold medal in the team compound event with her colleagues Kim Yun-hee and Seok Ji-hyun. The South Korean trio outshot Chinese Taipei's team 229-226.
In the men's team compound event, Choi Young-hee, Min Li-hong and Yang Young-ho were forced to settle for second place after being defeated 227-225 by India's trio Rajat Chauhan, Sandeep Kumar and Abhishek Verma.
