Q: I was wondering if there is an English manual for a driver's license test for sale. I've been to Kyobo Bookstore but all was written in Korean.

I would like to acquire a Korean driver's license and I heard that the written test is hard to pass especially for foreigners. Is there English material? Where can I find or buy one?

A: To obtain a copy of a driver manual, you can go to the district's drivers' license agency. Please refer to www.dla.go.kr/english/01_info/info05.jsp or www.rtsa.or.kr/eng/index.html.

Q: Could you please tell me where I can get motorcycle lessons (preferably in English if possible) in Seoul (the north side of the river if possible)?

A: There are not many institutions that offer motorcycle lessons. Sungsan Institution in Mapo is the one only place that offers English instruction.

To get to Sungsan Institution, please use their shuttle bus in front of the clock tower of Shinchon Hyundai Department Store at 15 and 35 minutes of every hour. For more information, contact the institution at (02) 304-7777.

Q: Is there a library in southern Seoul?

Q: I have a son 6.5 year old and a daughter 5 year old. And I am looking for an English-speaking elementary school and kindergarten nearby where I live in Girem Newtown, Seongbuk-gu, preferably public school.
