The following are the condolence messages from heads of foreign missions in Korea to the victims of the Itaewon crowd disaster on Oct. 29 and their families. ― ED.

It is with deep pain and consternation that I am following the sad news of the tragic accident that caused the deaths of more than a hundred human lives and others to be severely injured.

Please accepts our deepest condolences for the deaths of the people in Itaewon.

The tragic event on Itaewon's streets reached us all in deep sadness, as the loss of young lives is always the most heartbreaking tragedy.

On behalf of the Hungarian people, with profound sorrow, I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the Korean people and their grieving families.

In this time of mourning the Hungarian people stand with the Korean nation in solidarity and friendship.

We also wish for a fast recovery of all those who have been injured in this tragic event.

I am shocked at what happened in Itaewon. I deeply mourn the dead and wish for a fast recovery of the injured.

Back in 1999, in Belarus there was a similar tragedy, 54 people died in the stampede at the concert that time. So I understand and share the great grief for Korea.
