The Hankook Ilbo, a sister paper of The Korea Times, appointed President-Publisher Lee Sang-seok as vice chairman and Vice Chairman Park Jin-yeol as publisher and president, Tuesday.
Lee, a former managing editor of The Korea Times, has served as CEO of the vernacular newspaper since Dec. 2011.
Park joined the Hankook Ilbo in 1978 and worked as city editor, chief of the business strategy department and managing editor.
He served as president-publisher of the Sports Hankook and Hankook Ilbo and has worked as vice chairman since Dec. 2011.
