It may take only four minutes for girl group 4Minute to captivate listeners here, but it took a little bit longer to appease fans in Japan during their first solo concert.
The five-member band offered 15 numbers at the concert titled ``4Minute LIVE Energy Vol.1,'' which was held in Tokyo Saturday with more than 2,000 fans cheering them on.
The members started the show with their hit singles ``For Muzic'' and ``Won't Give it To You.''
``Next month we will be celebrating our first anniversary since our debut in Korea. We are all so grateful for everyone who came to our first solo concert in Japan,'' Nam Ji-hyeon, the leader of the group, told the cheering fans.
The group continued the concert with other hit songs, such as ``Hot Issue,'' in Japanese. Each of the members took the spotlight in their own individual stages as well, with Kim Hyun-ah singing her solo number ``Change,'' Jeon Ji-yoon singing ``Umbrella'' and Hur Ga-yun singing ``Flower of Snow.''
After their encores, the group left the stage, thanking their fans and promising a much more mature and sophisticated group in the future.
4Minute made its debut last year with the mini album ``Hot Issue.'' The funky dance number earned them many fans, while the group became the talk of the town when it was revealed that one of its members, Hyun-ah, was one of the original members of fellow girl group, the Wonder Girls.
The band released ``For Muzic'' in August, 2009, along with a Japanese single ``MUZIC'' earlier this month.
