Sheraton Grande Walkerhill is ready to greet international leaders from around the globe for the G20 Business Summit, taking place Nov. 10 to 11.
Walkerhill has renovated the guest rooms on the 11th, 12th and 14th floors with environmentally-friendly themes to host one of the four main discussions for the G20 business summit.
As for entertainment, the “Walkerhill Show” has also taken a new approach this year by putting together a new lineup of Korean performances including traditional dances filled with colorful Korean costumes and contemporary elements like Korean percussion music matched with martial arts dancing and break dancing.
Also, for the first time in 48 years of the Walkerhill Show history, the show is paired with a delicious hansik course dinner. The menu was especially molded to provide a special sample of Korean tastes and color to the guests — the menu includes easily approachable Korean food like bibimbap (rice and vegetables with red pepper paste), neobiani and grilled kalbi.
With extensive prior experience providing quality service to global dignitaries, the hotel is prepared to serve a memorable meal to the G20 leaders for the upcoming “G20 Welcome Banquet” and even the leaders’ spouses through special catering services for the “Hansik Luncheon.” The Korean cuisine prepared by the hotel is a fine example of Korean royal court food-cooked to perfection under the guidance of highly qualified chefs of Walkerhill’s two Korean restaurants, “Ondal” and “Myongwolgwan.”
