Seoul City Tour Bus offers on-board dining

Seoul City Tour Bus, one of two bus companies providing hop-on, hop-off rides between key city landmarks, is now offering on-board meals.

서울시의 주요 관광명소들을 들리는 서울시티투어버스가 버스내 식사 서비스를 제공한다.

Starting June 15, visitors who sign up for a "Bustaurant" journey are offered a barbecue eel lunch box with sides and drinks on the bus during a 30-minute stop at Sevitseom, LED-covered manmade floating islands near the banks of the Han River.

6월 15일부터 '버스토랑' 여행을 신청한 승객들은 시티투어버스가 한강의 인공섬인 세빛둥둥섬에 정차하는 30분간 장어구이 런치박스와 음료를 먹을 수 있다.

For children, the main dish will be either hamburger steak or fried pork cutlet.

아이들은 메인 요리로 함박스테이크 또는 돈까스 선택이 가능하다.

Along with Yellow Balloon City Bus, Seoul City Tour Bus offers convenient access to traditional markets, historic neighborhoods and cultural landmarks for visitors on a tight schedule.

'노랑풍선 시티버스'와 '서울시티투어버스'는 짧은 시간 동안 서울의 전통시장, 유적지, 문화적 명소에 편리한 접근을 가능케 한다.

Bustaurant tours run two times a day. The day trip runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with hour-long guided tours at the National Museum of Korea, N Seoul Tower, one ancient palace (Gyeongbok Palace or Changdeok Palace) and one old neighborhood (Insa-dong or Bukchon Hanok Village) near Gwanghwamun.

버스토랑 투어는 하루에 2회 운행한다. 낮 투어는 오전 10시부터 오후 4시까지 국립박물관, 남산타워, 경복궁 또는 창덕궁, 광화문 인근의 인사동 또는 북촌한옥마을을 방문하며 투어가이드가 함께 한다.

The night trips are shorter, from 7:20 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and only let passengers off at N Seoul Tower and Cheonggye Stream, the final destination. The night course mostly travels along the Han River for a succession of light-clad bridges and high-rises out the window. Noteworthy sights include the 63 Building, the National Assembly and Seongsu Bridge.

야간 투어는 낮에 비해 짧아진 오후 7시 20분부터 9시 30분까지 운행하며, 남산타워와 청계천에 승객을 내리기만 한다. 야간 투어 코스는 고층 건물들과 빛나는 다리와 같은 야경을 감상할 수 있게 주로 한강 드라이브로 이루어진다. 63빌딩, 국회의사당, 성수대교와 같은 곳들이 야간 투어에서 주목 할 만한 곳이다.

Both the day and night tour buses park at Sevitseom in the earlier half of the course for a dining break. Both tours start from the ticketing office in Gwanghwamun.

낮투어와 야간투어 둘 다 투어 초반에 식사시간을 위해 세빛둥둥섬에 선다. 투어는 광화문에 있는 매표소에서부터 시작한다.

The city tour buses are popular for their fleet of impressive double-deckers and high-decker open-top buses. Bustaurant tours will be run by red trolley buses similar to what one might spot in an amusement park.

서울시티투어버스는 인상적인 2층과 천장 없는 오픈버스로 인기 있다. '버스토랑' 투어는 놀이공원에서 볼 수 있는 것과 비슷한 빨간 트롤리 버스에서 가능하다.

The interior is decked with wood and retro lamps. Two- to four-person tables line each side of the bus, fitted with special plastic panels on the rims to provide a spill-free dining experience. Each bus holds up to 30 people.

버스 내부는 나무 장식과 복고풍 전등으로 장식되어 있다. 2인용에서 4인용 테이블이 버스의 양쪽에 늘어서 있으며, 가장자리에는 특수 플라스틱 패널이 장착돼 물이 흘러내리는 것을 방지한다. 각각의 버스는 최대 30명까지 탑승할 수 있다.

Special discounts are offered until July 25 to celebrate Bustaurant's launch. The ticket price includes the meal, guide fees and palace entrance fees at stopovers.
