| A guard stands at the entrance of Sungnyemun, also known as Namdaemun ― one of the remaining gates that mark the old city of Seoul, then known as Hanseong. The back entrance reopened to the public on June 22, for the first time since the National Treasure was damaged by an arsonist in 2008.
