Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, will visit South Korea from March 21 to 24 to receive an honorary doctorate degree in political science from Korea University, foreign ministry officials said Tuesday.

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, will visit South Korea from March 21 to 24 to receive an honorary doctorate degree in political science from Korea University, foreign ministry officials said Tuesday.
During his visit to the university Tuesday, he will give a lecture titled "A Nuclear North Korea and Peace in the Korean Peninsula."
The 85-year-old is also scheduled to meet President Lee Myung-bak, they said.
He last visited Seoul in 2001 for a project with Habitat for Humanity International.
