Last year, 2021, was the second hottest year recorded in Korea due to climate change, a recent report by the nation's weather agency says.
최근 기상청의 보도에 따르면 지난 해인 2021년은 기후 변화로 한국에서 기록된 가장 더운 한 해였다.
According to the climate analysis 2021 by the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) released Sunday, the average temperature last year was 13.3 degrees Celsius, 0.8 of a degree higher than the average of the previous years.
기상청이 일요일 발표한 최근 기후 분석에 의하면 지난 해 평균 온도는 13.3도로 재작년 평균 기온보다 0.8도 높았다.
It is the second highest average annual temperature recorded since the weather observation system was introduced nationwide in 1973.
이 온도는 1973년 전국적 기상 관측 시스템이 도입된 이후 기록상 두 번째로 높은 한해 평균 온도다.
The nation experienced unprecedented high temperatures in spring and fall of last year and the overall temperature rise due to climate change.
지난 해 전국은 봄과 가을에 전례 없는 고온과 기후 변화로 인한 전체적인 기온 상승을 겪었다.
According to the analysis of the seasons, the monthly temperature gap was the greatest in January, as the temperature dramatically rose towards the end of the month by 5.4 degrees.
계절 분석에 의하면 월 내 온도 차이는 1월에 가장 컸는데, 1월 온도가 뒤로 갈수록 급격히 올랐기 때문이다.
The unusually warm weather in 2021 triggered the earliest cherry blossoms in Seoul since observation started in 1922, on March 24, 15 days earlier than the average year.
2021년 평소와 달리 따듯했던 날씨는 서울에 평균 해보다 15일이 빠른 3월 24일에 1922년 관측이 시작된 이후로 가장 이른 꽃 개화를 촉발했다.
