The note, photographed by someone and uploaded on the Internet, was addressed to “mokttongnam,” an abbreviation of the Korean words, “the man who pooped in the bathhouse.” It was apparently authored by a cleaner of the bathhouse.
In the note, the cleaner said excrement was found on the floor of the bathhouse, covered with a plastic washbowl.
“Was it so urgent that you couldn’t even make it to the toilet right next to the bathtub room? Do you think the cleaning lady is a pushover? Your title as a civil servant is such a waste,” the note read.
Considering that the gym and bathhouse are only open to certified public servants, netizens have pointed out that the culprit is someone who works at the complex.
But because there are no CCTVs inside the bathhouse, it looks like the chances of finding the man who did such a disgraceful deed are slim.
화장실까지 가기에는 너무 급했나?
지난 목요일 과천 정부청사 헬스장 목욕탕에 남겨진 쪽지가 여러 인터넷 사이트에서 뜨거운 주목을 받았다.
카메라로 포착되어 인터넷에 올려진 쪽지의 내용은 ‘목똥남’에게, 보아 하니 청소부가 집필한 것이다.
쪽지의 주장은 목욕탕 바닥의 세숫대야 밑에 배설물이 발견됐다는 것이었다.
“지척에 있는 화장실도 못가실 만큼 급하셨나요? … 청소아줌마가 봉 인가요. 뒷처리는 하실만한 연세 같은데. 공무원 title이 아깝네요”라는 내용이었다.
헬스장과 목욕탕은 공인된 공무원전용이라는 것을 보고 누리꾼들은 범인이 정부청사 직원인 게 분명하다고 지적했다.
그러나 목욕탕 안에는 CCTV가 설치되어 있지 않기에 범인을 찾을 확률은 낮다고 보고 있다.
