A 61-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of killing his wife in a blind rage during an argument, police said Wednesday.
The man, surnamed Yang, allegedly stabbed his wife multiple times to death at their home in Joongnang-gu, northern Seoul, Sunday.
Yang, who has been jobless for years after retirement, had habitually beaten his wife and was drunk at the time of the crime.
He also injured his son who was attempting to stop the attack, by stabbing him in the leg.
