Actress Song Hye-kyo said Thursday she has filed a lawsuit against those who allegedly defamed her and spread false information about her divorce from actor Song Joong-ki.
목요일, 배우 송혜교가 자신의 명예를 훼손하고 배우 송중기와의 이혼에 대해 허위사실을 유포한 이들을 고소했다고 밝혔다.
UAA, her agent, released a statement saying it has taken legal action with Bundang Police Station in Gyeonggi Province.
그녀의 소속사인 UAA는 성명을 내며 경기도 성남시 분당경찰서에 고소장을 제출했다고 밝혔다.
"After collecting evidence, we filed a complaint against rumormongers who made false accusations and malicious slander against Song Hye-kyo," it said. "We will also sue all YouTube creators and online users when securing the evidence."
이어 "증거 수집 후, 송혜교에 대한 근거 없는 비난과 악성루머를 퍼뜨린 허위사실 유포자들을 고소했다"라며 "나머지 네티즌들과 유튜버들도 증거자료가 확보되는 대로 전원에 대해 형사고소를 진행할 예정"이라고 덧붙였다.
Kim & Chang, Korea's largest and the most prominent law firm, is representing Hye-kyo.
국내 최대 로펌인 김앤장이 송혜교의 법적 대리인으로 선임됐다.
"The groundless rumors and malicious comments have inflicted unbearable pain on Hye-kyo," UAA said.
송혜교의 소속사 UAA는 "근거 없는 허위 글이나 악의적인 욕설이 송혜교에게 견딜 수 없는 고통을 안겨 주고 있다"고 전했다.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Family Court approved the divorce settlement for Hye-kyo and Joong-ki on July 22, 25 days after Joong-ki sought it.
한편 송중기가 이혼조정을 신청한 지 26일만인 지난 22일, 서울가정법원에서 이들의 이혼조정이 성립됐다.
The pair met through the pan-Asian TV series "Descendants of the Sun" in 2016 and tied the knot in October 2017.
송혜교와 송중기는 지난 2016년 아시아 전역을 강타한 TV 드라마 '태양의 후예'를 통해 만나, 2017년 10월 결혼식을 올렸다.
