It is not unusual for motorists to see dogs sitting in the back of a car. But this time it was a horse on the backseat, pushing its head out of a car window on a highway in Brazil.

A motorist named Fortaleza, who was driving alongside the car, whipped out a video camera to capture the eccentric moment.

A witness told The Daily Mirror the animal was sitting in the car as if it were a dog.

"The horse seemed to be enjoying the drive and didn't look stressed at being squashed into such a small space," said Evi Braga.

There is no law about how horses should be transported in Brazil, so the owner or driver is not committing any offense.
