A video of a foreign musician singing a classic K-pop song in a Seoul subway station is going viral, with many praising its feel-good vibe.
Filmed at Seoul National University of Education Station on Line 2, the video shows the singer performing a rousing version of G.O.D.'s "One Candle." Onlookers laugh in surprise when the musician, Aancond Abe Zaccarelli, starts singing in Korean.
Sporting long dreadlocks, the singer stomps his feet as he sings. Subway musicians are rare in Korea, but onlookers warmed to the musician quickly, singing along with him.
The song is a well-known anthem about overcoming hardship.
"Oh my God this just makes me smile," a netizen wrote in English.
Another wrote: "After everything that has happened in Korea, this song may be an encouragement."
This is not the only time the musician has been seen performing in a public place he was also videotaped busking in Insadong, Seoul.
