A containerized bike-rack will be set up under the southern tip of Hannam Bridge for cyclists hoping to relax at the observatory and "Cafe Rainbow." The container rack for 10 cycles will be available from Sept. 21 as trial run.
A Seoul City spokesman said that the city has installed the rack container for 10 cycles as individual cyclists bring their cycles to the cafe for fear of theft.
The rack container is divided into 10 closed space to prevent damages to and theft of cycle parts with the secret cord-oriented the lock on the outer side and individual lock within for double safety.
The container is 5.8 meters long, 1.4 meters high and 2.5 meters wide.
"The city plans to install more cycle-rack containers in other observatories and cafes along the Han River to help cyclists relax while running the riverside without worry of theft," an official said.
