It is same outfit Green wore for the poster that the Motion Picture Association of America deemed to be too sexy in June and ordered the actress's nipples to be made less visible.
Dimension Films, the movie's distributor, is appealing against ABC's decision, the New York Post reported.
"The ABC rejected a trailer, saying Green appears to be naked in the same sheer, white nightgown," a source told the newspaper. "Dimension was told to remove the offending footage if they want the trailer to air."
Green, a star of many films such as Casino Royale, does not understand the brouhaha over her breasts. She said that extreme violence in movies seemed to be lesser of a concern to film censors and television networks.
"I find it a bit odd," Green told Vanity Fair in June. "It seems like it's all just publicity _ a lot of noise for nothing. You have so many more violent things in the movie business and this is kind of soft. I'm not naked. It's suggested."
Green joins Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Brolin and Bruce Willis for the second movie in Frank Miller's thriller series, which is set to open in August.
