A man who held up the same bank and teller a month after being released from jail for bank robbery has been jailed for another 10 years, the Associated Press reports.

Joshua James Driskell was arrested for robbing a Key Bank branch in Bremerton, Washington, last October. He had just finished his jail sentence for a 2010 robbery at the same branch.

Driskell went into the bank on Oct. 23 and gave the teller a note demanding $10,000. A detective recognized Driskell from security footage, and the teller gave police a partial license plate number.

Driskell told police he spent some of the $2,000 he stole on marijuana.

미국 워싱턴주의 한 남자가 몇 년 전에 털었던 은행을 또 털다 잡혀 징역 10년 형을 선고 받았다.

조슈아 제임스 드리스켈이라는 이름의 남자는 2010년 키뱅크 (Key Bank)의 브레머튼 지점을 털다가 잡혀 옥살이를 했다. 그런데 출소한지 달 뒤인 지난해 10월 그는 같은 은행을 털어 1만 불을 빼갔다. 은행도 같았을 뿐 아니라 협박을 당해 돈을 내어준 은행원도 3년 전과 동일인물이었다.

직원들이 기억하는 도둑이니 잡히는 것은 시간 문제. 은행의 보안요원은 보안카메라 영상을 통해 범인이 드리스켈이라는 것을 경찰에 확인해줄 수 있었다. 두 번이나 털린 은행원은 드리스켈이 타고 도주한 차량의 번호판을 어느 정도 외우고 있었다.

경찰에 잡혔을 때 드리스켈은 훔친 돈 중 2천불을 이미 대마초를 사는데 써버린 상태였다.
