ETS provides TOEFL study tips

The Educational Testing Service (ETS), which administers the English proficiency test TOEFL, is providing a study kit of free resources to help Korean test-takers prepare for the test.

The resources consist of sample test questions, a test prep planner and videos that provide an in-depth look at sections of the test. These are available on the official ETS website and the Korean version of the TOEFL Go Anywhere site.

Test-takers can answer questions that have appeared on past tests to help them with study preparation.

They can also access a five-part video series providing an in-depth look at writing and speaking sections of the test.

The TOEFL test prep planner provides an eight-week calendar to help test-takers become familiar with the test format.

The program also provides access to a wide spectrum of resources, including helpful hints for living in a foreign country, information on obtaining student visas and scholarship opportunities.

"The user-friendly resources developed by ETS, the developer of the TOEFL, provide a comprehensive overview of what students must know to succeed on the assessment," said Pamela Treves, director of the TOEFL Brand.

"The tools offer insight on the overall testing experience, including registration, study preparation and what to expect on the test day. Being familiar with the test format and testing process will give students an advantage on test day."
