K-pop boy group WINNER renewed its contract with YG Entertainment on Aug. 17, according to the company Wednesday.

All four members ― Jinwoo, Seunghoon, Mino and Seungyoon ― have inked a new five-year-contract with the company on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of WINNER's debut, YG said.

“With the contract renewal, WINNER and YG will be able to keep our relationship strong and stable,” YG said in a statement. “Please look forward to the future activities of WINNER, which is well known for its high-quality and experimental music.”

The WINNER members said, “We first want to show our respect to our fans for always standing by our side. Thanks to you, we have been able to reach this point. From now on, we want to kick off a new, endless musical journey with you.”

WINNER consists of the winners from the 2013 competition show, “WIN: Who Is Next.” After making its official debut under YG with the album, “2014 S/S,” in 2014, the group has put out a series of hits including, “BABY BABY” (2016), “REALLY REALLY” (2017) and “EVERYDAY” (2018).

Currently, members Jinwoo and Seunghoon are fulfilling their compulsory military service. Mino and Seungyoon are forging their solo careers, and both of them were recently featured in “Korean Eye 2020: Creativity and Daydream,” an exhibition of emerging contemporary artists in Korea, as special artists.

YG Entertainment manages BIGBANG and BLACKPINK, among others.
