Dirk Lukat, CEO of Schenker Korea, has been re-elected for another two-year term as chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK), the economic organization announced earlier this week unveiling its new board of directors for the 2021-2023 term.
There has been a slight change in the nine-member board. Philips Korea country leader Donghee Kim and?IKEA Korea country retail manager Fredrik C Johansson have been newly elected to the board of directors. Oerlikon Balzers Korea managing director Jan Benggard,? AXA Korea President & CEO Gilles Fromageot, Finnair Oyj general manager Dong-Hwan Kim, Mercedes-Benz Korea Vice President & CFO Gerd Bitterlich, Diageo Korea finance director Elizabeth Kyunghee Nam, and Kim & Chang senior attorney Kay-Jannes Wegner have been re-elected as board members.

"We will continue to help navigate the difficult months that lie ahead and serve our members and the European business community in Korea. The chamber will continue to work closely and collaborate with Korean and European authorities to create a better business environment for our members," Lukat said.

Established in 2012, the ECCK is a business association of European companies active in Korea. Representing the common voice of the European business community, the ECCK provides members with information, communication and access pertaining to the business and regulatory environment of Korea. Currently, the chamber consists of 360 member companies.
