Rookie K-pop boy band ENHYPEN has racked up 450,000 pre-orders for its upcoming album in just 19 days.

The group's management company, Belift Lab, said the number of pre-orders for “BORDER : CARNIVAL” exceeded 370,000 just three days after sales were announced. The pace is much faster than the group's previous album, “BORDER : DAY ONE” (2020), which racked up 300,000 pre-orders in 20 days.

ENHYPEN's second EP, “BORDER : CARNIVAL,” with the lead track, “Drunk-Dazed,” is set to come out on April 26. Bang Si-hyuk, the mastermind behind K-pop sensation BTS, and producer Wonder Kid, composed “Drunk-Dazed,” a song about the emotions ENHYPEN members felt after their debut last year. The album will also include five other pieces, including “FEVER,” “Not For Sale” and “Mixed Up.”

The septet unveiled Thursday a teaser for the music video of “Drunk-Dazed.” After the release, the group will appear later on Thursday on Mnet's “ENHYPEN Comeback Show: CARNIVAL” to promote it.

ENHYPEN consists of seven winners from Mnet's audition program, I-LAND (2020): Heeseung, Jay, Sunghoon, Jake, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-ki. The 12-episode competition show featured 23 aspiring singers at Belift, a joint venture set up in 2019 by Mnet's operator, CJ ENM, and Big Hit Entertainment, which manages BTS. In March, Big Hit officially changed its name to HYBE.
