K-pop girl group TWICE is set to appear on NBC's “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” according to its management company, JYP Entertainment.

“The nine-piece act will perform its popular song Cry For Me on the American show on April 27,” JYP said in a statement Tuesday.

TWICE premiered “Cry For Me” ― a single about love and hate ― at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) last December. The video for the song has exceeded 24 million views on Mnet's YouTube channel as of Tuesday. JYP's founder and producer, Park Jin-young, and singer-songwriter HEIZE jointly penned the lyrics.

“The Kelly Clarkson Show” is a variety talk show hosted by American singer Kelly Clarkson, who is best known for her smash-hit, “Because of You” (2004). Legions of big-name pop stars, including Dua Lipa, as well as K-pop boy band Seventeen and BLACKPINK's Rose, were previously featured on the show.

TWICE, comprising Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu, debuted in 2015 with the EP, "The Story Begins." The act's hits include "Cheer Up" (2016) and "Heart Shaker" (2017). It will put out a new album in June.
