Myriad photos and videos capturing symbolic moments of last week's inter-Korean summit are flooding the internet.

You might have looked at many of them, including the leaders' historic first handshake over the military demarcation line, the South Korean leader's off-script crossing into North Korea, their one-on-one tea table talks on a wooden bridge built above the landmine-littered demilitarized zone and hugging after their joint "Panmunjeom Declaration."

Well, what about North Korean security guards and chefs running with shiny silver noodle containers toward the venue for the post-summit banquet, or South Korea's spy chief shedding tears of happiness, or a South Korean boy belting out a song before the two leaders?

There were as many mind-blowing moments behind the scenes as there were in front of the cameras during the summit. But they didn't get the attention they deserved because the leaders were not there. The Korea Times selected some that are worth looking at.
