Vocalist Lee Hi will return with a new album after a three-year hiatus.
The comeback date will be announced “soon,” according to her agency YG Entertainment, Monday. The lead track's music video has been filmed, although the song's title is being kept under wraps.
The agency also took to its official blog to unveil a photo teasing of the singer's return.
“Lee was on a hiatus for quite a long time because she has been striving for music that strikes her fancy,” the company said. “She has 'saved' dozens of songs during the break. Hence, Lee will become musically active from this year on.”
Lee was runner-up in the SBS audition show “K-pop Star Season 1” in 2012. She joined YG after the program and has released several hit tracks including “1,2,3,4 (2012)” and “Breathe (2016).”
