Beware: Dongdaemun station to shut transfer passageway to Line 5

If you are in Seoul and plan to travel through Dongdaemun History and Culture Park station, pay attention to this: the station's transfer passageway to Line 5 will be closed temporarily.

The closure will begin on July 18 and continue through Oct. 31, during which an old escalator in the passageway will be replaced and safety and convenience facilities refurbished.

Passageways to Line 2 and Line 4 won't be affected.

Dongdaemun station is one of the busiest transfer stations in Seoul, linking Lines 2, 4, and 5.
