Action sports brand Vans will host "House of Vans Seoul 2015" at Dongdaemun Design Plaza from Sept. 18-20.
The House of Vans tours the world, as a hub where visitors can experience the music, art and skateboarding culture in which the brand has its roots. Everything is free.
This year's event will be the largest yet, with numerous artists based in Korea and abroad participating in various programs, including art workshops where visitors can make toys and try old school tattoo designs and screen printing as well as do-it-yourself slip-on paper shoes.
This year there will be a street market, where people can display and sell their work.
The highlight of the event will be live performances. Hip-hop performances on Friday feature local artists "DJ Conan," "Palo Alto," and Zion.T. American artist TalibKweli will also make his first performance in Korea.
On Saturday, rock musicians include local bands "BettyAss" and "Hollow Jan" and hardcore U.K. band "While She Sleeps." American punk rock legend "Pennywise" will wrap up the performance.
