In Itaewon the choice of places to dine is endless, and there is practically no cuisine missing from the cultural landscape. One cuisine which Koreans and expats can't seem to get enough of is Mexican. With over a dozen Mexican restaurants in the Itaewon area alone, it doesn't look as though this trend is set to be over anytime soon.
However not all tacos are created equal, what sets Little Baja apart from the competition is their Baja/ SoCal style. Although the restaurant itself is little more than a hole in the wall, it's already got the masses queuing up thanks to their authentic Baja taste.

While the menu is small, it's certainly well executed. There are only 3 types of tacos available, fish, shrimp, and octopus. All come coated in the lightest of beer batters and housed in corn tortillas. They are then garnished with cabbage, pico de gallo (fresh salsa), crema (cream sauce), salsa roja (red hot sauce), and a wedge of lemon.
The mix of battered seafood and fresh zingy salsa is orgasmic and will soon have your mouth watering for more.

Despite the bold flavours the tacos are also some of the cheapest in town, prices from 6,000 - 8,000 for 2 pieces. To complete the dining experience and wash those tacos down, Little Baja also serves Horchata, a traditional Mexican sweet rice milk, which is not to be missed, along with a choice of imported Mexican beers and sangria.
For a party in your mouth where everyone's invited, be sure to pay them a visit this weekend.
