Korea's trendsetting 20-somethings have chosen Times Square Shopping Complex near Yeongdeungpo Station in Seoul as the most popular multiplex mall.
The result came from a survey in September by Univtomorrow Research Lab for the Twenties of 300 Koreans living in capital areas including Seoul, Incheon and the Gyeonggi Province regions. Fifty-two percent of respondents selected the mall.
Situated in the middle of Seoul as a landmark of Yeongdeungpo-gu district, the multiplex mall houses Shinsegae Department Store, wholesale retailer E-mart, CGV movie theaters and other facilities for business, entertainment, weddings and dining. It also provides space for a wide range of cultural performances such as K-pop stars' autograph sessions and their mini-musical concerts.
The mall's easy access by public transportation added to its popularity, a survey analyst said.

Seoul's Lotte World Mall in Jamsil District and COEX Mall in Gangnam District accounted for 45 percent of the votes.
The survey also showed that 75 percent of respondents prefer visiting shopping malls on Saturdays. Forty percent said they go there with their partners.
"The multiplex mall is an attractive place for those in their 20s because they can enjoy a lot of cultural facilities there with a comparatively limited amount of resources," the analyst said.
"The survey apparently shows a trend among young Koreans who like to use their resources efficiently."
