FACE of Sri Lanka 2020 with EDGC, a regional modeling competition before the FACE of ASIA finals in Seoul, announced two winners at Taj Samudra Colombo on March 6.
Sayuri Bhagyawi Jayarathna and Yasiru Mihiran are set to advance to the FACE of ASIA. The competition is the largest model-hunt platform in Asia and part of the 15th Asia Model Festival (AMF) scheduled for later this year in Seoul.

"FACE of Sri Lanka has been the optimal cultural exchange platform for Sri Lanka and Asia," said Yang Eui-sig, chairman of the Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee (AMFOC). "Sri Lanka is also a country with strong potential, which is home to the male winner of FACE of ASIA 2018, Isanka Pramuditha."
Badal Saboo, representative of the event's partner companies, said, "I am thankful to AMFOC for constructing an ecosystem for models and the fashion industry to target the Asian market."
Seoul City, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and The Korea Times sponsored the event. Models Ajai vir singh, Jacquie Mei, Roshan Duminda and Tasla Seenadeera attended.
Contestants from Korea, China, Japan, Mongolia, the Philippines, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Nepal, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macau, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Arabia, Bangladesh, Taiwan and Tuva will compete at the Asia Model Festival.
