LG Energy Solution renewed its official website, Tuesday, to strengthen online communication with customers.

Environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) management activities will be strengthened, and hiring and financial data will be available in Korean, English, Chinese, Polish and German by September.

The firm said it is focusing on diversifying content and strengthening its role of providing information to a variety of global visitors.

Included in the website are headers ― Business, ESG, Company, Investors and Career ― to improve user experience and convenience.

Global investors are increasingly applying non-financial ESG factors before considering the viability of an investment determined by risks and growth opportunities.

LGES added an ESG header which visitors can click on to see the firm's ESG policies in detail, including climate change response, supply chain management and achieving a virtuous cycle of resource procurement.

The firm also established a user interface that takes visitors' needs into account in the site navigation. This is to help them get the most frequently searched information faster and easier.

Under other headers, customers can have their inquiries answered by searching for certain products.

“We will improve customer convenience and a greater number of them will be able to access our website within this month after renewal. This will help us take the lead in enhancing our image as a global battery manufacturer,” the company said.

Two days earlier, the firm announced its ESG vision: “We CHARGE toward a better future.” C stands for climate action and a circular economy. H is for human value management. A is for advanced environment, health and safety. R is for responsible and impactful business. G is for good governance. E is for ESG disclosure and communication.
