Global blockchain experts, including gurus of Ethereum and Solana, will attend the Upbit D Conference (UDC), according to Upbit's operator Dunamu, Tuesday.
The blockchain and fintech firm Dunamu unveiled the lineup of global speakers for the UDC, which is scheduled at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul on Nov. 13.
Starting in 2018 and now in its sixth year, UDC is the country's top blockchain conference, aiming at contributing to the cultivation and expansion of the blockchain ecosystem. The non-profit event has received acclaim for its in-depth presentations by global experts and diverse session offerings, promoting knowledge sharing, free discussions and networking for anyone interested in blockchain, including experts, industry professionals and students.
Dunamu expanded the scope of UDC to encompass policy, finance, technology, culture and trends, from its previous focus on technology. This year's event will thus be held in a hybrid format both online and offline, to allow more participants to join. The presentation can be watched in real-time through the official UDC YouTube channel.
Under the slogan of "All That Blockchain," the UDC this year will feature sessions categorized by keywords such as trends, policy and regulation, finance and business, content and culture, and industry and technology.
Global blockchain experts including Matt Sorg, head of product and partner engineering at Solana Foundation, Roger Ver, founder of Bitcoin.com, Mel McCann, vice president of engineering at Cardano Foundation, and Tom Teman, product manager at Ethereum Foundation will share their knowledge through the online and offline channels.
"Anyone interested in blockchain can freely participate in UDC. Global leaders of blockchain industry and experts from diverse sectors will continue joining the conference," a spokesperson for Dunamu said.
Registration for UDC 2023, both online and offline, will start on Sept. 11. Offline tickets will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited venue capacity.
Over the past five years, more than 1,190 companies and over 19,100 people participated in the conference. As of August, the cumulative video views have reached 770,000.
