Featuring G-Dragon as host, star producer Kim Tae-ho’s highly anticipated music reality show “Good Day” will premiere on Disney+.
The streaming platform announced Thursday that the show will debut locally on Feb. 26.
The show will follow G-Dragon on a journey to create “the song of the year,” meeting with different individuals from various fields for inspiration.
The singer personally proposed the idea for the music show, joining hands with producer Kim, who is known for creating the hit variety show "Infinite Challenge."
"'Good Day' will offer promising entertainment, showcasing its host G-Dragon's authentic side in his personal life, his moments as a K-pop icon and the diverse chemistry he develops through meetings with various personalities,” the platform said in the release.
The show has garnered high anticipation with the lineup of its guests, ranging from actors like Kim Soo-hyun, Jung Hae-in and Yim Si-wan to TV personalities like Kian84 and chef Anh Sung-jae.
“Good Day” will air at 9:10 p.m. every Sundays on MBC and stream on Disney+. It will also be available for global streaming through iQIY and tvN Asia.
G-Dragon picked up his solo act last October with the digital single “POWER,” releasing his first solo song in seven years since the self-titled EP “Kwon Ji Yong” in 2017. The song topped the iTunes chart in 16 different countries following its release.
He also released another single, "HOME SWEET HOME," with the group BIGBANG a month later, sweeping local music charts.
