Chinese K-pop star Fei of miss A in solo debut

Chinese K-pop singer Fei of miss A will make her solo debut with the song “Fantasy” on Thursday.

According to her agency, the song will be released at midnight. Its music video is rated adults only.

On Wednesday, JYP Entertainment released a teaser to show how well she has prepared the sexy concept for her first solo album.

JYP also said Fei is the first miss A member to release a solo album.

“I really hope Fei does well with this, especially when everyone is against her because of her stance on the South China Sea issue,” a fan posted to online media outlet Soompi. “I will support her no matter what. Even though I don't have the same view as hers, it makes sense supporting the country you were born in.”

Fei debuted with the band in 2009. She was recently embroiled in controversy after voicing opposition to the international court’s South China Sea ruling, which dismissed China’s sovereignty argument.
