Korean actress Kim Tae-hee has successfully returned to the TV screen with tvN's new drama series “Hi Bye, Mama!,” ending a five-year hiatus.
According to Nielson Korea's data, the most recent episode on Sunday garnered 6.1 percent viewership, making the show Sunday's most watched cable network drama in the 9-10 p.m. timeslot.
The fantasy comedy drama stars Kim as a ghost mother named Cha Yoo-ri who died in an accident but gets a chance to return to her husband and her child for 49 days.
The 49 days determine whether she can be reincarnated.
Actor Lee Kyu-hyung, who appeared in the 2017 tvN series “Prison Playbook”, plays Cha's husband.
The 16-episode drama, which premiered on Feb. 22, airs every Saturday and Sunday.
