Producer Kim Jae-won of Netflix's popular dating show "Single's Inferno” shared that the latest season will be the most interesting one of all three seasons.

“Out of all the previous seasons, this is the best season in terms of entertainment. The cast members, especially, are more upfront and straightforward than any other season,” Kim said during the press conference for the show, held at CGV in Yongsan District, Seoul, Monday.
“They don’t care what other people think. One moment they are flirting and the next they are fighting and sometimes they fight and it turns into flirting. It will be the most entertaining season for the viewers.”
The dating show invites a group of single men and women to be stranded on a deserted island and spend a few days together. The only way to escape the island and spend a night at a luxurious hotel, also known as paradise, is to pair up as a couple. The participants mingle with each other to search for love and a chance to spend a night in paradise.
The third season, which is set to drop on Dec. 12, introduces a new location and fresh rules to spice up the dynamics.
“We made a lot of changes to the rules. With Season 2, we got a lot of feedback for being too similar (to the previous season). So many things have changed, such as allowing couples to go to paradise within 30 minutes of meeting on the first day,” the producer said.
"A lot happened in paradise. The dynamics of the show evolved so rapidly, which even surprised us creators and we found ourselves asking, 'Is it possible for things to progress this quickly?' There's a hidden rule. So please see it for yourself through the show and find out.”
Kim showed confidence in the new season’s cast members, emphasizing that they add to the realism of the show.
“We cast people who would come to mind when you think of ‘Single’s Inferno.’ They are very attractive and have great personalities,” he said.
“We tend to look for individuals who can confidently reveal themselves without being superficial in front of the camera. I think viewers tend to empathize more with this kind of genuine, unguarded attitude. Viewers these days have such a sharp eye. They won’t respond to participants who act like 'I need to show only my good side.'”
This season will have one of Season 2’s participants, Dex, joining as the show’s newest host, along with the four original hosts from the previous seasons – Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun and Hanhae.
Dex shared that he will bring a fresh perspective to the show as someone who has experienced the process himself.
“As the host, watching the cast members in this season, I could see the subtle details of the cast members more clearly. Seeing this season showed me things I didn't know at the time and made me think, 'Was I like that too?' or 'Was I that obvious?,'” Dex said.
“I believed my unique qualities that other shows’ hosts don’t have are being natural, honest and free. So I immersed myself in those aspects when hosting the show,” he added.
