Since the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, singers have been live-streaming their offline performances on platforms such as YouTube to practice social distancing, but "SuperM ― Beyond the Future" was an online-customized concert in the first place.
The show made full use of Augmented Reality (AR), Live Sync Camera Walking and other technology to interact with the audience through the monitor.
The seven members ― SHINee's Taemin, EXO's Baekhyun and Kai, NCT 127's Taeyong and Mark and WayV's Ten and Lucas ― premiered "Tiger inside" with the help of AR, which realistically embodied tigers on the stage. The stars also performed their debut track "Jopping" (2019).
The two-hour performance was unveiled on Naver's V Live, as an inaugural show of "Beyond LIVE," a live concert streaming service newly launched by SM and Naver.
Other SM artists WayV (May 3), NCT DREAM (May 10) and NCT127 (May 17) will follow.
