The agency for Lee Joon, actor and former member of boy band MBLAQ, Wednesday denied reports Lee now serving his mandatory military service tried to commit suicide.
Prain TPC said it confirmed with Lee's family reports of him cutting himself or being sent to the "Green Camp" for soldiers who are mentally unstable or otherwise unfit for service were not true.
Lee went to boot camp last October and is expected to finish his mandatory service in July next year. Lee received top honors at boot camp and was cited by the division commander.
The agent asked for restraint in reports about Lee citing the false report upset his family.
