K-pop boy band Teen Top is set to return to the stage in July of this year.
The band's agency, TOP Media, announced, Monday, "Teen Top members have finalized their July return date and are now working on their new album."
Teen Top's hiatus goes back three years since the release of their last album "To You 2020." The comeback was made possible by the band's wish to be with their fans as they celebrate the 13th anniversary of their debut.
The upcoming album will also include a re-recorded version of a track that will be chosen by a fan vote of the best Teen Top song. The reimagined track was officially announced by Teen Top members during a live stream on YouTube Monday, and the voting will begin May 8 on Teen Top's official social media channel.
With fans growing excited about their reunion, especially given the group's long track record of success, anticipation is growing that Teen Top will once again deliver their own unique brand of music that gave them a distinctive character in the industry.
Teen Top formed an important pillar in the global rise of K-pop since debuting in 2010, rolling out many hit tracks including "Crazy", "Miss Right", "Rocking", "No More Perfume On You", and "To You". In addition to their success as a group, the band members have also seen their individual careers flourish throughout this time as well.
Having signaled their full return as a band in 2023, Teen Top is looking to build on the hype surrounding their comeback through a gradual unveiling of various promotional events in the run-up to their next album.
