An incident took place at the set of a new drama series starring Park Eun-bin, where a man hurled a brick and injured one of the filming crew.
A man in his 40s has been apprehended on charges of assault over the incident. He reportedly showed up at a set in Seoul's Changsin-dong neighborhood in Jong-no District where the drama was being filmed at around 3 a.m. on April 26, before throwing a brick that injured one of the female staff members working on-site.
The man reportedly told the police that he had been agitated by the bright lights and the noises coming from the filming location. Law enforcement officials are currently investigating the detailed circumstances surrounding the incident. Fortunately, the female staff member who was hurt at the scene did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
The production company of the drama series released a statement saying it will put its attention toward preventing similar incidents from happening again in the future.
The new drama series starring Park Eun-bin is slated for release sometime in the second half of this year.
