Enjoy a spring day on one of the most famous bridges in Korea.
The Gwang-an Bridge, also known as the Diamond Bridge, in Busan is open for a walking event on May 2 for citizens, visitors and tourists. More than 10,000 guests are expected to join the unique event that will continue from 9 a.m. to noon. The walk will start at BEXCO, through the bridge to Bukyong University.
An interesting feature of this event is a performance by the New Prime Orchestra, which will play right in the middle of the Diamond Bridge. Other various cultural events, including a lottery, magic shows, pantomime performances and face painting, will also take place on the bridge.
The special event is designed to boost tourist attractions in Busan. The Diamond Bridge has become a favorite among visitors to Busan and is also a popular backdrop for dramas and movies.
